How a Ugandan Innovation is Cleaning Up the Famed Rolex Delicacy

Rolled eggs, also known as Rolex, is a very popular street delicacy in Uganda especially Kampala City. The Rolex and Chapati business is also a renowned employment magnet for young people.

However, questions have been raised about the hygiene of the street food business. A local startup is helping to train ‘Rolex guys’ on how to make more hygienic snacks.
