Meet a zealous team of journalists fighting fake news in Uganda

Fake news is one of the challenges the continent is grappling with. Since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, rumors and conspiracy theories have been rife, undermining the efforts like vaccination premised to fight the virus.

But in the heart of Kampala is a team of young journalists that have banded up to take the fight against Fake News to a new level.

The Debunk is the first fully-fledged  media organization in Uganda dedicated to sourcing out, fact check and determine what is real and what is fake all over the news and information platforms.
