Ugandan Engineer Repurposes Used Batteries for Sustainable Energy Solutions

Stephen Kavuma is a Chinese-trained electrical engineer. But after years in the Asian country, he decided to return and try his professional luck at home, only to encounter another set of challenges. 

Kavuma has now built an eco-friendly plant to repurpose Lithium-ion batteries to provide affordable, portable energy units for rural communities.
